The Drill Instructor called us awful names, natural language on us, and I remember my face being stomped genuine to the mud. After hell week, we were slowly forming a group; a team with different backgrounds, cultures and nationalitiesy. Soon we grew from being a maggot to the finest sailors of the linked States Navy.
After I got out of Active Duty, we haved to go to a transition class. The transition class helpeds me adapt my military experience to the civilian world. It was not easy for me. My first team scorn me as being too hard and hot tool for making executive decisions, but they loved my motivational style and on time attitude. I have improved a lot from that experience, that’s why understanding the ainity types, audition skills and trust levels of a team can benefit me as an individual and as a team.
Taking the Jungian 16 Type Personality test gave me a tool on how to manage different people. Extroversion which is energized by outer world and , on the other hand introversion is energized by inner(a) world. This particular type can assist you when you divide your team into groups.
Sensing means working with known facts and the opposite is distrust which looks for possibilities and relationships. A combination of both personality types on the team can be beneficial especially when making a case, argument or decision. You stimulate that feeling of what is the right social occasion versus doing things right.
Thinking is a personality type which bases decisions on neutral analysis and logic; Feeling based decisions on personal values. A mixture of both of these personalities can bring symmetricalness to the group but can also slow things down.
