I have solo recently been subject to the winning of management so many employees hope to have. I, like so many others, have watched a company be political campaign by a totalitarian individual with the belief that only they know best, only they see the larger picture, and only their opinions matter. The results were never highly beneficial to the company. More accurately, they were always destructive to the company in the long-term sense.

While this is a basic principle for any company to aim for, their methods of achieving those changes were blemished in many different ways.
Firstly, there was no form of communication with the employees as to how or why specific changes were be made. All that was ever conveyed was how something was to be performed differently. A different supplier was to be used, or different products used for a unproblematic task, despite their potential for performing at significantly lower berth standards. The lack of communication affected both the performance of the employee and the products in question.
