Live Performance Review
I attended a musical play at the opera house Company of Philadelphia where they acted emerge one of Shakespeares most popular stories of all time, Othello. Opera is truly not my style of music but after seeing the play and how it connects to music, I will definitely produce theres nothing quite as enkindle as attending the opera in a victor theater like the Academy of Music. These are the real names and of the per fountains, next to it is the name that they use in the play; Clifton Forbis(Othello a Moorish General), Norah Amsellem (Desdemona, his wife), Mark Delevan (Iago, Othellos ensign), Margaret Mezzacappa (Emila, wife of Iago and maid of Desdemona), Jason Collins(Cassio, Othellos captain), Cody Austin( Roderigo, a gentleman of Venice), Jeremy Milner (Lodovico, ambassador of the Venetian Republic), and Joseph Baron (Montano, former G everyplacenor of Cprus). The performance was held at the Academy of Music, Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 6:15 p.m.
At the event there were over a thousand individuals mostly high school and bosom school teenagers who attended the opera as a severalize trip or project; Ages range (10-16).
Unlike actors on television or in the movies, the performers onstage are sure of the auditory modality. Theres always a connection they emergency to share their love of performing with you. Everything you do in the audience affects what happens on stage, for that reason they want you to show them how much you notify their work by being quiet as possible. For midsection school and high school its always a little bit of challenge when it comes to being quiet at a certain time, but at the opera I was actually surprised at how quiet they were, that shows how interested they were in the musical play of Othello.
