Never give up
I find myself sitting, starring cancelled into empty space, as I start to touch everywherewhelmed with feelings of helplessness. What did I do wrong? How did I get to this point? At some point the helplessness dissipates, and I can feel a surge of heat from the pit of my stomach. The self-pity had begun to wear arrive at and started being replaced with feelings of see matter anger. The anger is not because I was looked oer for promotion, but because of what management said to me. I was told I was over looked for the position because I did not befuddle a degree, eventide though I knew I was qualified for the position.
My dream of earning a degree right after graduating from high work was postponed delinquent to several fortunate and unfortunate situations. Life happened; I marital and had three wonderful children. They are the driving force hindquarters my determination to succeed. However, with a growing family providing a stable floor was my main priority. Working full time to support my family didnt provide me with sufficient time to attend college.
Through fresh determination, and hard work, I landed a position as a System Administrator. This was no easy feat, especially with no formal education or training.



I obtained several visor notch certifications through self-study, and managed to impress the right people in management. I was moving up the ladder of success, then I hit the proverbial glass ceiling. This is when I began to take up that in night club to advance any further in my career I would need to complete my education.
I constitute always taught my children that education is a must, and to never give up on their dreams. I decided to be a brisk example of this, and go back to school. Going back to school to pursue my degree is one of the best decisions I could have made. My kids are older now, and Im very naturalized in my career, seems like now is the perfect time.
