The Current System
Currently at beats Music, they ar using a paper based system. This includes a stock sheet and order form. The stock sheet is a heel of all the albums stocked by a particular mechanic and as you can imagine needs updating regularly. Problems with the System
There are many enigmas with the current data system at Beats Music. Firstly, it is very inefficient and time consuming as each order need to be hand written into the book. This also means the details of returning customers need to be filled in repeatedly. Another problem with the system is that all the records are hand written. This could lead to need of presentation as pen colour can be changed and, because of the difference between peoples writing, a escape of understanding of the writing. It is also very hard to store a large number of paper records. It is also much harder to clear a mistake or fix the problem of fade when it comes to paper.
