Applied concepts of Statics

Introduction
In the subject of statics, several topics were reviewed referring to forces and moments involved on and in an object that is not moving. The purpose of this project is to guard what was seen in the course and demonstrate how useful the recently gained noesis is.

Method
We chose a bookshelf as our object of analysis. The bookshelf is submitted to the weight of several books and a portrait of Marco doing a backflip when he was younger and more flying…anyway…it looks like this.


So basically the portrait (the hotshot with the lama that says pure hotness) is only supported by one part on the back so we result consider it a force going down. The books be close to the same size so we will consider them a distributed force except for the red one (which is a prodigious compilation of images and biographies of all the characters of all the Star Wars movies! … awesome).
After pickings the measurements of the bookshelf and the weight of all the books we get this:
Portrait = 475g
Books = 9.3 kg / 202.74 N/m
Star Wars book = 2.4kg / 156.96 N/m

We proceed to obtain the counterweight of this rigid body, including the internal forces.





When we finished, Manuel became a wild monkey and assay to attack Alejandro destroying the whole room including the two pieces that held the beautiful bookshelf. We proceeded to desex a new analysis of the bookshelf, with it now being held by two cables. This is basically a new 3D feign:

Conclusion
Statics is a very useful subject that canful be use to every object that isnt in motion. Basically the principles of Statics are more important in things like the construction of a bridge or the implementation of a lever. But we can similarly apply it to smaller things like a bookshelf.
