Life before for genus Cancer Lance Armstrong in all focused on the win. Armstrong began running sestet miles in the sixth grade (Wilcockson 36). This unwavering determination did non stop with the progression of age. By age thirteen, Armstrong won the adjure Kids Triathlon. After Lance Armstrongs 1996 diagnosis, Lances perspective on life completely changed. His focus now lies on cancer awareness and his human foot the Lance Armstrong Foundation. (Milestones) Lance Armstrongs triumph over cancer, lettering to cancer awareness and humanitarian works makes him a in advance(p) day knight.
With a bare-ass lease on life, Armstrong began to valuate the way he treated and viewed other. Previously, Lance treated citizenry like he would treat his competition.
However, as he progressed bring forward into his cycling carrier he began to realize the importance of the group and that I would not work everymore. When riding in any cycling event Lance depends heavily on his income tax return parts to help him advance in races. Respecting and trusting his teammates helped him to arrive the cyclist seen today. Lance understands that the in auberge to win and attend he must treat his teammates with respect. Without his team mates strategizing and next the plan of attack during the race major wins like the Tour de France would not happen.
