Pierce the Veil opened for the band A Day to Remember at the San Diego Sports Arena. The first song they vie was the energetic and well known Caraphernelia. The melody was of all time changing and changed rattling much in the pitch and range. The rhythm was rattling fast paced and brutal, feeling as though it was beating through with(predicate) your chest. The dynamics were truly forte because the vocalist, Vic Fuentes has a very hard and passionate voice that electrifies and brings to life every lyric. The tempo was allegro, as I said it was very fast paced and made you essential to dance. The instrumentation was fabulous, the musicians, Jaime Preciado: Bass, Tony Perry: Guitar, and Mike Fuentes: Drums (who is my idol because I play the drums as well) are by far the best musicians Ive ever heard in a post hardcore band. They output their music seriously, while also having fun and never losing their unparalleled sound.
Yeah Boy and Doll Face
As they compete this very beautiful and romantic song, they pulled up a young woman from the crowd and Vic sang it to her.
This song is the epitome of Pierce the Veil, this very catchy and intoxicating song had a very manifold melody, that changed a lot, which is what makes Pierce the Veil such a queer band, their melody never stays the same. It was moderato and had a very beautiful climatic build up in the noseband of the song, and the acoustics made it feel very full and rich in texture.
Sky Under the Sea
Let me first first off saying that this song is the most passionate and intense song Ive ever heard by Pierce the Veil. The song starts of with Vic spitting out the lyrics to the woman that broke his heart, victimisation incredible vocal and instrumental dynamics throughout.
