Dance Review Narcisa Hinds Medgar Evers College MUSC 100 008 October 25, 2011 Prof McMillian This performance took place Saturday Oct 22, 2011 at the BAM Harvey Theater in Brooklyn, NY. The performance was entitled Haze a jump choreographed by Wang Yuanyuan. This was one of her currentest projects that she created for the Beijing Dance Theater. Ms. Yuanyuan founded this field in 2008 after her success choreographing the 2008 Olympics Opening Ceremony in Beijing. As a lover of dance, medicament, and the arts I am always excited to view performance and concerts. This was a new experience and one that stood out for many reasons. This was my first time viewing a dance of this sprint. What I like more or less about dance is that there are various forms and styles that spate be created and recreated time and time again. I found this dance performance to very intriguing due to the simple except creative way in which they danced. The style was a ripple of liturgical dance, ballet, and modern. The styles were intertwined so smoothly that it created a story. Many whitethorn not depict a story from the dance scarcely as I watched I began to see it unfold.
